MOVA 4.5 Inch Vesta Rotating Globe

The MOVA 4.5 Inch Vesta Rotating Globe is an artistic recreation of the solar system’s second largest asteroid. The red, green and blue colored rotating globe is based on a topographic map that shows the asteroid’s various elevations, as observed and photographed during NASA's Dawn mission. The red parts represent the higher elevations, and the blue spots represent the lower. Like all MOVA globes, this mini protoplanet uses ambient light to animate its rotations. Solar cells within the unit power its revolutions, making batteries or power cords completely obsolete for this eco-friendly product. Only artificial or natural light is needed for the spinning globe to function.

With the sphere measuring 4.5 inches, the entire model stands 7 inches tall including the clear acrylic three pronged base.
